TARF macros are general-purpose input automation tools. Rules regarding macros and automated inputs vary between games, platforms and competitions. TARF Tweaks does not authorize, recommend or encourage the use of macros in any game or service where such functionality is prohibited. In particular, TARF macros should not be used in Fortnite where their use would violate Epic Games' rules or Terms of Service. The same applies to any other game or platform that prohibits macros or automated inputs. Before using any macro, you are responsible for checking and following the applicable rules and Terms of Service. TARF Tweaks does not guarantee that macro use is permitted, undetectable or free from account sanctions.
Yes. In rare cases a board does not like a setting and you get a black screen on the next boot. It looks alarming, but nothing is broken and it is always recoverable - open a ticket in our Discord and we will walk you back to a working boot. We have not had one we could not fix.
No. Every change TARF makes is a documented setting, it is written down before it is applied, and any of it can be put back. Nothing is overclocked past what your hardware allows and no firmware is flashed.
Nothing at all. That is the point of the BIOS Optimization Tool: it reads your board, decides what is worth changing on it, and applies it for you. You do not need to know what a single setting means.
Yes, all of them. TARF snapshots the original value before it writes anything and keeps a record of every change, so you can revert a single tweak or put the whole machine back the way it was.
It depends on your hardware and how your system is set up right now - a machine that was already tuned has less to gain than one straight out of the box. Most players see higher and steadier FPS and noticeably lower input delay.
