2. Visiting and hosting this website

This website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”). When you visit, Cloudflare must process technical connection data to deliver the page to your device and protect it from attacks. This may include:

• IP address,
• date and time of access,
• requested address and referrer, if transmitted,
• browser, device, system and language settings, and
• HTTP, routing and security information.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, fast and reliable delivery of the website. You are not legally or contractually required to provide this data, but the website cannot be transmitted without this technical processing.

3. Cloudflare as recipient and processor

Cloudflare receives the technical data. Where Cloudflare processes data on our behalf, it does so under the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum and may use documented affiliates and subprocessors.

Processing may take place in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare states that it relies in particular on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Retention

We do not create our own visitor profiles or store separate server logs outside Cloudflare. Cloudflare retains technical log and security data according to the selected settings and contractual terms.

Retention depends on the purpose, what is required for security and operation, and applicable legal duties. Data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed for those purposes and no retention duty applies.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use no analytics or advertising trackers, social media embeds or non-essential first-party cookies. Switching between German and English uses ordinary links and stores nothing. No consent banner is therefore planned for the website's current scope.

If a Cloudflare security feature needs to check harmful or automated traffic, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. It is used solely to deliver the website securely. The legal bases are section 25(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the contact details you provide, the time and the content of your enquiry so that we can respond. Email attachments may also be processed. Calls are not recorded. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries.

We use Outlook.com for the mailbox leoradtke@outlook.de. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider and data controller is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (“Microsoft”). When you email us, Microsoft processes the message and associated connection data.

Microsoft may also process data in the United States and other third countries. Microsoft states that it uses appropriate safeguards, including adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Contact data is deleted once the enquiry has been resolved unless statutory retention duties or legitimate reasons require longer storage.

7. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may also object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This website does not make solely automated decisions or create profiles.

The public website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. This protects data sent between your browser and the website from unauthorised interception.

This notice will be updated when the website or its services change, particularly if accounts, order or payment functions, newsletters, forms or analytics are added later.
